MEET DR. KRUSE

Anthony Arellano-Kruse, MD, FAAO
Dr. Anthony Arellano-Kruse, often known to patients as Dr. Kruse or Dr. Tony, is a board-certified physician with a background in anesthesiology and a passion for integrative and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Kruse was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, California. Raised in a hardworking family without significant financial means, he learned the values of perseverance, humility, and dedication early in life. His desire to pursue medicine began at the age of ten while serving as an altar boy, when he first felt called to a profession devoted to helping others.
During high school, he balanced academics with a variety of interests. He worked as a DJ—an experience he remembers fondly. Driven by a deep sense of patriotism and adventure, Dr. Kruse joined the U.S. Army through the early enlistment program while still in high school. Shortly after completing his training, he was deployed during Operation Desert Storm, serving in combat as an Infantryman operating from Bradley Fighting Vehicles. That experience shaped his resilience, discipline, and lifelong commitment to service.
Following his time in the Army, Dr. Kruse attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he majored in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. He later completed medical school and specialized in Anesthesiology. Throughout his career, he found great fulfillment in guiding patients safely through surgical procedures—often some of the most stressful moments of their lives—while ensuring their comfort and safety. His dedication to patient care led him to become the Lead Orthopedic Anesthesiologist at his hospital, and he has contributed to the medical literature through publications in the field of orthopedic anesthesia.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Kruse lived an intensely active lifestyle, competing in triathlons and marathons while enjoying hiking, weight training, and CrossFit.
However, over time he began experiencing significant health challenges, including chronic fatigue, brain fog, weight gain, and persistent body aches. His symptoms worsened to the point that he had to give up many of the activities he loved and even struggled to maintain his normal routines. When he sought answers within conventional medicine, he was often told that his symptoms were simply part of aging or stress.
Determined to regain his health, Dr. Kruse began exploring integrative and alternative medical approaches—what he now refers to as simply “good medicine.” His recovery began with intravenous ozone therapy, which significantly improved his energy and well-being. A Prolozone injection (a combination of ozone and vitamins) in his shoulder further helped him return to physical activity. With the addition of targeted supplements and regenerative therapies, his health improved dramatically.
That personal transformation reshaped his mission as a physician.
Today, Dr. Kruse combines decades of medical experience with innovative therapies designed to support the body’s natural ability to heal. His goal is not simply to manage symptoms, but to help patients address underlying causes of illness so they can regain their strength, vitality, and quality of life.
Dr. Kruse now dedicates his work to helping others who may feel frustrated, overlooked, or without answers—patients who know something is wrong but have been told “everything looks normal.”
For many of his patients, restoring health means reclaiming the ability to work, exercise, think clearly, and enjoy time with the people they love. Helping them achieve that transformation is what Dr. Kruse finds most rewarding.
